Mental Health and Resilience
5 week series
Drawn from neuroscience, psychology, and lived experience with mental illness, this series arms you with life-long tools and knowledge to support your mental wellbeing. By covering multiple facets of mental health, as opposed to a tick-box approach, we ensure neurological, behavioural and emotional changes are deeply engrained.

The program is designed to be run as one workshop per week over 5 weeks.
1.5 hours per workshop
Session one:

Introduction to the science of wellbeing
​
This workshop unpacks the science of wellbeing and ways in which we can increase happiness through mindfulness based practices.
We explore the science of mindfulness (without the 'woo woo') and set goals around how we can improve our mental wellbeing.
Session two:

Rewiring unhelpful thought patterns
This workshop explores the science of the brain and equips you with proven ways to help rewire negative thought patterns or troubling thoughts.
Learn the difference between helpful thoughts vs unhelpful thoughts and how to respond to thoughts in a healthier way.
Session three:

Emotional regulation techniques
Managing emotions is at the core of our mental wellbeing. This workshop helps us to understand difficult emotions, and equips you with scientifically proven tools to help manage difficult emotions, such as anger, sadness, anxiety. We finish the workshop with practical breathwork exercises which help to regulate our emotions.
Session four:

Stress and anxiety management
This workshop unpacks the science of stress and how we can manage stress so that it doesn't take a toll on our mental health
It equips you with powerful ways to manage stress, such as simple breathing techniques and reframing techniques, which help regulate our stress response and calm the nervous system.
Session five:
​
The science of happiness
This workshop explores the science of happiness, what contributes to positive wellbeing and why happiness is within our control.
We learn about the importance of implementing proactive tools and simple ways that we can help to increase a sustainable sense of happiness.
